Don Hale, Jr. is an inspired entrepreneur, philanthropist and artist. Having graduated from the University of Southern California as Political Science major his view of the world is not only broad because of his unique childhood background but also highly tempered under the rigors of high level formal education. Beyond traditional education his understanding of leadership and execution was further cemented while serving as a varsity football player with the Trojans winning multiple championships under the tutelage of Coach Pete Carroll.

Though his transition from college life to the entrepreneurial world was rewarding, Don found his true passion was entertainment. He fell in love with the film and began taking classes, workshops, and stringing together indie projects in his free time. Since entering the industry, Don has had both luck and success. He has appeared in and worked on international commercials, indie films, music videos, sitcoms and projects with celebrities of every caliber. Eventually taking the plunge and producing his first theatrical film, this would become the cornerstone of his motivation behind evolving into the world of distribution. Having learned exactly what it takes to not only create content, but the science, business, and strategy behind theatrical releasing and monetizing filmed assets.

Since 2015, Don has delivered 6 feature films across various platforms, 3 of which were released theatrically, with films 7 and 8 slated for market in early 2019. In addition to managing acquisitions, development, production and post- production, trailer and key-art creation, and advanced target marketing strategies; Don has worked closely with all departments within Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and specializes in final asset output and technical delivery of all requirements.

As a once “at risk youth” who faced homelessness and the perils of the county foster system, Don offers his time to local homeless shelters and children’s programs where he especially enjoys helping youths become involved in athletics. His mission is to inspire youth with his personal story of overcoming with the mantra “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.”

In order to assist youth in the film industry, he’s installed a bridge program for aspiring entertainers, executives, and vendors to be trained hands-on within an actual production. The program highlights best business practices for entertainment professionals along with specific field training in all areas of production. His mission is to inspire youth with his personal story of overcoming with the mantra “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.”

Don is a co-founder with Walter Mosley Esq. of AIR Media Productions (Art Imitates Reality) which specializes in film production where he serves as President.
